Over the years many of the Chapels have gone; full histories of these Chapels were held by the Rev. Chris Cheeseman, former Circuit Superintendent.
Should you be interested in more information please contact the present Superintendent (Rev. Tim Thorpe) - see contacts on our welcome page.

Amalgamations and closures of various chapels has meant that the Circuit in its present form came into being in 1962. In recent times one Chapel at Harrop Fold decided to become an Independent Chapel in 1996, Slaidburn closed in 1999 and Grindleton in 2009.

At present the Circuit includes:
- Chatburn, Clitheroe (Trinity), Paythorne, under the pastoral charge of the Circuit Superintendant Rev. Tim Thorpe.
- and Waddington, Whalley & West Bradford under the charge of Rev. Katy Thomas
